What is Emergency First Response?
Emergency First Response (EFR) is a set of courses that provide instruction on CPR, First Aid,
Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and assisting a person who is choking. EFR is an OSHA
compliant training curriculum.
How do you learn?
Learning is maximized for all different types of students and work environments. Learning can be
tailored to your specific needs and on-site if desired. Three methods of learning are available and
these include:
- Independent Study
- Classroom presentations
- Combination of Independent study and Instructor-led
These methods were designed so that learning can be individualized and can also be provided in a
workplace setting with the fewest disruptions in the work schedule.
Why Emergency First Response?
CPR training has been known to be too complex and difficult to remember when they are needed. Over
time, we at EFR have learned that if the CPR and first aid methods are too complicated, individuals will
be afraid to use them. EFR has taken this lesson to heart and designed a state-of-the-art curriculum
that is easy to understand and better yet, easy to implement when the time comes.
EFR is also OSHA compliant and meets or exceeds most requirements for insurance liabilities.
What courses are available?
- Adult,
- Child
- Infant CPR
- First Aid training, and
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
These courses can be taught together or in any combination. That's one of the great things about EFR,
it can be totally designed for your needs.
